Marty St. Louis has yet to return to workouts a week after taking a puck to his left eye, but Boucher believes that as soon as St. Louis can get back on the ice, the former MVP will be ready to return to the lineup.
"The problem is going to be the blood in his eye, and until that is out he can't play,'' Boucher said. "He's going to play with a cage, most likely, when he starts back, and the problem is not going to be the broken bone, it's the fact he has blood in his eye. And the minute that is taken care of, I know him, and if there would have been a remote chance of him playing after that crazy day, he would have been in there.'' |
